How Our Personalized Gifts Are Made: Behind the Scenes
In this post we will pull back the process / production curtain so to speak and explain how our personalized gifts are made for our customers.
We make products ie personalized style with heart, so this means the product orders are make-to-order items, so they are unique and most importantly made with the gift recipient in mind.
This will include gift products in homeware from blankets, pillows, canvas prints, ceramic mugs, tumblers to jewelry. Each product is created with care, attention to detail, precision and we believe happiness.
Happiness for the creation process and carving out our little part of the world in order to provide gifts to people specifically tailored to them. It is a very positive experience.
Our motto is show the love and this is what our customers do when they choose a personalized gift for a loved one, as they have to first think what gift would that person like and what message of love / positivity or humor do they want to convey to the person though the gift.
Lets take a look behind the scenes without further ado.
Step : It starts with You ( the Customer ) ❤️
The customers thinks first about Who the are getting a gift for, what gift product would make them happy etc.
We show the customers the our personalized product catalogue options, gifts for which occasion ie like birthdays, Christmas, mother’s day, father’s day etc. Our customers chose treasured photo for a polyester pillow, choose a funny quote or message of love for a ceramic mug, select a name or initials for personalized jewelry – they start the personalization process on the product listing, see the completed order preview then purchase or not.
Step 2 : Our Designers & the Design Process
Our designers get to work. There are different designers for apparel, homeware items and jewelry etc.
For a photo pillow our design team will receive the order, check the photo resolution, clarity, lighting, composition. If it needs slight adjustments we do this with adobe photoshop. The image then gets fitted to the design layout that matches the pillow shape and size. The photo is aligned. If text is to be added we choose the placement as seen on the product listing images. Once the design is finalised sublimation inks on transfer paper are used, then heat pressed straight to the polyester pillow. A special sublimation press is needed for this process. It gets a final inspection then once the sublimation process is complete. The pillow is stuffed, packaged, and shipped. We use a trusted product partner to print, pack & ship to your door.
The process changes with the product type but here is more detail about other products :
· Ceramic mugs – We use Dye sublimation and UV printing produce so there is long lasting results.
· Polyester tote bags our tote bags are 100% polyester body, strong and durable synthetic fabric that retains its shape and dries quickly. We use vibrant dye sublimation printing
· 100% cotton twill hats are embroidered by our designers, with names, initials etc.
· Stainless steel tumblers personalized gift designs are prepared with sublimation and uv printing. Manual cutting, printout positioning on the product, heat transfer, removal of extra tape is all used in this design process.
· Canvas products – the best resolution for canvas prints is 300 DPI. We use one of two color models for printing ie RGB or CMYK.
· Personalized jewelry is engraved, stamped, or laser-cut with a Name, Initial, the Message. This is all done with precision and focus.
No 2 orders are the same.
Each order is custom made for a specific customer.
Step 3 : Quality Checks & Fulfilment
Before goods leave the production area, each item is quality checked. Print quality, alignment, material good standing and personalization checked.
The order delivered to our customers is as you envisioned in the pre order Product Preview. If there is an issue please email us. Please see our returns policy and refunds policy for full clarity.
We used protective packaging for goods in transit as we deliver gifts to customers for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays etc.
